Virtual Private Servers
Virtualization allows for multiple virtual "servers" (known as Virtual Machines)
to run on a single physical server simultaneously. AccuFind provides it's virtualization
products based on VMware’s ESX Server platform, exclusively on a ‘single-tenant’
model, where the ESX server is dedicated to a given customer.
Windows and Linux are both supported as "guest" operating systems. Virtualization’s
greatest benefit, aside from consolidation of servers, would it's portability. Virtualization
allows a Virtual Machine to be abstracted from the hardware it runs on and moved
from the physical server to another server without reconfiguration, which facilitates
rapid provisioning and recovery.
AccuFind's Multi-Core servers are excellent platforms for the VMware products, offering
multiple processor cores per server and dedicated RAM for your applications. Additionally,
AccuFind can deploy ESX servers in pairs for redundancy and failover for capability.
