Can I change my domain name?

In order to change your domain name, you need to submit an order for a new domain name. This can be done by accessing the AccuFind Control Panel, going to Add or Remove Services and then clicking on Additional Domains.

Since this is a new domain name, the Registration fees still apply.

My sites are hosted now at various ISPs. How would I get them transferred to you?

Once, you have completed the signup form, you will be notified when your account setup is complete. the notification will include all DNS information, allowing you to easily transfer the domain names or point them at us. Our staff can assist you, within reason during the transfer process, by advising you of the best procedures to follow, to expedite the transaction.

When I switch to your hosting service, will I remain the actual owner of my domain names?

Yes, you will always remain the owner of your domain names. AccuFind will be listed as technical contact, as long as you wish us to be notified of any registration problems with the NIC. We will notify you or assist you in resolving domain name problems as long as we are listed as technical contact. At no time does AccuFind contact the registrar to resolve issues involving domain names.

Do you do daily tape backups of your servers?

We exceed most other providers with backups every four hours for Shared hosting accounts. Dedicated Server accounts are backed up weekly. The archive of backups is held for 4 weeks and rotated. Restoring your data is simple and fast. It only requires a email to our support staff from you and it is handled as quickly as possible.

Do you offer mail administrator access?

Yes, managing email, forwarding accounts and auto responders, is as easy as filling out a form and updating the account. Our Control Panel offer complete email administration for your website or your clients websites.

What is your uptime guarantee?

Our guarantee our network will be available 99.86% of the time in a given month, excluding scheduled maintenance. Customers are entitled to a refund equal to 5% of the monthly fee per 30 minutes of downtime, not to exceed the their total monthly hosting cost. Network uptime includes functioning of all network infrastructure including routers, switches and cabling. Network downtime exists when a particular customer is unable to transmit and receive data and records such failure in the AccuFind Support System. Network downtime is measured from the time the trouble ticket is opened to the time the server is once again able to transmit and receive data.

How many websites are hosted per server?

The number of websites on a server is really based on the traffic and the CPU usage, rather than the number of websites. As our customers grow and start to reach higher capacities, they are offered the opportunity to upgrade their accounts to more powerful solutions, such as dedicated servers. The server traffic and cpu usage is monitored closely to insure maximum performance at all times.

Is there an additional setup fee for SSL Certificate Hosting? (I understand I would be responsible for paying for my own SSL Certificate) One of our sites will be accepting credit cards and e-checking. Is there an additional setup fee to setup this s

There is no additional setup fees for SSL or SQL hosting. Although there are fees for both of these options monthly.

With the Virtual Server program, I want to make sure that the five websites I am allowed to host are not sub domains of one domain name or pointers to one website. Each of my websites has a separate registered domain name and are for separate busines

With all accounts, each website that you setup will be a top-level domain, i.e. www.yourdomain.com or yourdomain.com, both requests are served.

Is FTP available 24/7/365?

All services are available 24/7/365.

Will I have a single FTP site or multiple FTP sites?

You can have multiple FTP accounts to your web area. in the event that you are a reseller or have multiple webs, you may want to provide ftp access that limits access to just one specific area for security. this is handled by making a request ot the AccuFind support team and is handled within the hour most of the time.

Will I be able to run both Coldfusion and ASP applications?

Yes, you can run both Coldfusion and ASP tags and applications in your account with no restrictions.

Are you using IIS 5.0 or IIS 4.0?

IIS 4.0 is running on our NT servers, while IIS 5.0 is running on the 2000 servers

Are you running Windows 2000 Server products or Windows NT 4.0?

We are currently offering Windows 2000 Advanced Server, Windows NT 4.0, Unix (FreeBSD), and Linux Servers.
