AccuFind has several shared SQL servers, you must request a database by sending a message to support@accufind.com, once this is completed an administrator will send you the information necessary to connect to your database.

I have front page extensions installed on my website - but I do not yet know how to start using it to create my site. Please let me know what steps to take to start it and to enter info to my site. Thanks Tom

Customers using SQL hosting with AccuFind, use Enterprise Manager to communicate with the server and to replace or edit the data within their accounts.

I beleive the enterprise manager is also included with the Personal Copy of SQL, however other tools that are available, are connections through most editors, i.e. DreamWeaver, FrontPage, etc. So you will not have a problem managing your data.

In regards to replacing, the Enterprise Manage allows you to import and export data directly to your database and this is the method used to replace data in your database or tables.

I want to set a username and password at the DSN level. Is this possible?

Setting a username and password at the DSN level would require using a commercial database application, such as MS SQL, MySQL, etc. MS Access does not have this functionality as far as I know.

Is SQL Server 7.0 installed on the same machine as the CF Server and Web Server Software (IIS) or is your database software run on a separate machine?

Our SQL Servers are independent of the web servers, installing both SQL and Coldfusion on the same server is not recommended by allaire and results in poor performance.
